Highlights will feature lion and dragon dances, acrobats, mochi pounding and tasting, Tibetan prayer-flag demonstration, and a special presentation celebrating Fred Korematsu Day (January 30th), with a film screening and talk.

Shirley Muramoto Koto Studio has been invited to perform “Fantasia” with Kazue Sawai, grand master of the Sawai Soukyokuin in Tokyo, and some of her students/teachers from around the world, at Stanford University's Pan Asian Music Festival. It is a high honor to be able to perform with Madame Sawai, one of the top performers on the koto today.
